This is just a quick photo from down my road, nothing to special just a really nice evening, but i also like the way the telephone wire goes over head. and the slight glare from the sun adds to the picture, i would like to use this image more throughout this project

5 Basic colours

I will also be Designing a Logo for my town in this project, these are just 5 basic colours (well the grey being a shade) i may possibly use, i have chosen 2 different greens to represent the Green side of Badshot Lea as it has a lot of fields and other greenery, the orange is for how nice the weather can be, Blue for the pond and clear skys Badshot Lea can have, the grey to show the slightly urbanised side of the Town

Today one of the things i have been looking at for this project are fonts i could use which i feel could be used to represent Badshot Lea, i have gone for fairly 'Old' looking kinds of font as Badshot Lea to me is just a small old farming town, there isnt to much farming now but there used to be, and it has a nice old feel to the small town.

Now im a big fan of Skylines and for a project back at GCSE i did a lineo cut print of Sydney, i think skylines are a great way to show off a town or cites features, unfortunatly Badshot Lea doesnt have any really large noticable features like Sydney, Portsmouth New York, ect.

Even though this isnt a Town as such they still show the area in a interesting way, and it also has alot of comical things in it as well, the cartoons are eye catching and make people want to look at all of the map to see each interesting and fun cartoon :)



London Poster

This London poster was designed for the New Leaves Studio, a small business selling prints that I co-founded, the A1 Lithograph has proved to be very popular across the globe, you can still buy prints from www.newleavesstudio.com.
But i like this design to represent a town, well in this case city. I like its simplicity but yet includes so much, the kind of paper cut design i think really works with fitting it all together and including key points from the city.
